Jobot seeks a Director of Human Resources to lead and scale our HR function in Raleigh, NC. You will partner with executives to define a robust people strategy, oversee a four-person HR team, and drive processes that support rapid growth while preserving founder-led culture.

The role emphasizes building scalable HR infrastructure, improving performance management, and ensuring strong employee relations across a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Organizational Development, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leading an HR function.
• Experience in a growing, founder-led, entrepreneurial organization.
• Demonstrated track record scaling a business from small to mid-size with structured processes.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and org development.
• Ability to be both strategic partner and hands-on HR leader; communicate with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to define and execute a scalable HR strategy aligned with long-term objectives.
• Evolve HR from a small-business model to a scalable, structured department for mid-size growth.
• Review policies, systems, and workflows to identify improvements, automation, and efficiency.
• Create frameworks to support headcount growth, expansion, and potential acquisitions.
• Lead a four-person HR team including recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations; set clear KPIs.
