WINTERSTEIGER Solutions, a division of WINTERSTEIGER Group, seeks an entrepreneurial General Manager for the U.S. market. You will lead the commercial and operational activities, drive market development, and personally engage in key sales opportunities across North America.

You will shape strategy, build a high-performing team, and report to executive leadership while benefiting from the backing of a global organization. Remote, executive-level remit with autonomy and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership in GM/MD roles within industrial equipment sectors.
• Experience driving revenue growth and P&L management.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across sales, service, operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of wood-processing or related sectors preferred (German a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall U.S. business with growth, profitability, and market development.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and customer relationships.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet financial goals.
• Drive new business development initiatives and profitable expansion opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop sales, service, and support teams.
• Represent the business at industry events to increase visibility and opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales team in prospecting, visits, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
