Job summary

BWF America, Inc. invites a dynamic General Manager to lead our U.S. site, align local operations with German group strategy, and drive sustainable growth across the market.

You will own the P&L, steer strategic plans, and collaborate with headquarters in Germany to deliver results. This role requires proven leadership in the United States, an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong communication across cultures.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration.
• Several years of experience in a general management or leadership role.
• Proven operational and strategic leadership experience in the United States.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong results orientation.
• Hands-on leadership style with initiative and ownership.
• Strong communication and intercultural competence.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the operational and financial management of the U.S. site, including P&L ownership.
• Lead strategic planning, forecasting, and regular reporting to the headquarters in Germany.
• Ensure efficient production and business processes to meet customer requirements on time.
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers, authorities, service providers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the local management team and employees in close collaboration with group leadership.
