BWF America, Inc. seeks a General Manager USA to assume full entrepreneurial responsibility for the U.S. operations and to sustainably develop the site with your team.

You will align the American market demands with the long-term strategy and German family-owned culture, lead the local management, and report to headquarters in Germany. This is a key role in a global, growth-focused family business.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration.
• Several years of experience in general management or leadership.
• Operational and strategic leadership experience in the United States.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong results orientation.
• Hands-on leadership style with initiative and ownership.
• Strong communication and intercultural competence.
• Fluency in English; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the operational and financial management of the U.S. site, including P&L ownership.
• Lead strategic planning, forecasting, and regular reporting to the headquarters in Germany.
• Ensure efficient production and business processes to meet customer requirements on time.
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers, authorities, service providers, and stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the local management team in collaboration with group leadership.

Ideally, you bring

• Several years of experience in a general management, business unit leadership, or comparable entrepreneurial leadership role
• Proven operational and strategic leadership experience in the United States
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong results orientation
• Hands-on leadership style with high initiative and ownership
• Strong communication skills and intercultural competence
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
