Job summary

24 Hour Fitness USA, LLC in Downey, CA is seeking a Fitness Manager to oversee revenue growth and program delivery across the club. You will lead by example with personal sales, hire and coach fitness staff, and ensure exceptional client experiences through updated processes and quality control.

The role requires strong sales leadership, coaching ability and knowledge of fitness programming, with responsibilities spanning staff development, client activation, and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Strong background in sales, driving revenue and leading a team.
• Solid understanding of exercise science and fitness programming.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with guests, members and staff.
• Desire and passion to help people achieve fitness goals and improve lives.
• Ability to coach, develop and motivate team members to meet performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Grow fitness revenue by coaching staff and selling personal/group training packages.
• Directly sell training products and lead team in achieving sales goals.
• Hire and develop coaches; ensure quality of fitness offerings and client experience.
• Oversee client activation, scheduling and retention processes.
• Coach trainers on prospecting, sessions, and client acquisition.
• Manage group training schedules and class quality; monitor performance metrics.
