Job summary

Quantinuum is seeking a Director of M&A and Strategic Partnerships to lead identification, execution, and integration of acquisitions and partnerships that drive external growth across hardware, software, and related functions.

You will oversee end-to-end deal processes, build robust business cases, and collaborate across Product, Technical, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain teams to deliver measurable synergies.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years in M&A or partnerships within technology, deep-tech, or complex B2B environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify acquisition and partnership opportunities aligned with strategy.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution including due diligence, financial analysis, structuring, negotiations, and closing with cross-functional teams.
• Develop robust business cases and financial models to assess strategic fit, risks, and value creation potential.
• Support development, structuring, and execution of strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
• Lead post-deal integration planning and delivery across hardware, software, commercial, business, and supply chain functions.
• Maintain deal pipeline governance and provide regular updates to VP Corporate Development and executives.
• Build and manage relationships with targets, advisors, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Prepare investment papers, presentations, and analyses for Executive Team and Board discussions.
• Collaborate with Product, Technical, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution.
