Job summary

Jobot in Omaha, NE is seeking a Commercial Lines Producer to drive new business revenue through sales of commercial insurance products. The role requires a P&C Producer License, 3+ years in commercial insurance sales, and a proven ability to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer License.
• 3+ years in commercial insurance sales or B2B experience.
• Proven track record of meeting sales or production goals.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management concepts.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with business owners.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and disciplined.
• Proficiency with CRM/Agency Management Systems and MS Office.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and cultivate new commercial insurance clients.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Assess client risk and coverage needs.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals.
• Explain coverages including General Liability, Property, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, Professional Liability, Cyber, Umbrella.
• Negotiate with carriers to secure terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Underwriters for submissions.
• Maintain CRM activity records.
• Attend client meetings and industry events to build pipeline.
• Cross-sell additional lines to existing clients.
• Assist with renewals and policy changes when needed.
• Provide professional, ethical client service.
