Job summary

LP Insurance Services is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to deliver top-tier service to Clients, Producers, and Account Executives. You will manage assigned accounts, coordinate renewals, and collaborate with underwriters to optimize coverage and pricing.

The role emphasizes developing long-term client relationships, accuracy in documentation, and proactive identification of new business opportunities within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance coverage is essential.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Commercial Lines middle market account management experience with a broker.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, working with deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with Commercial Lines insurance clients and underwriters.
• Support large and complex commercial lines clients.
• Review insurance applications, policies, endorsements, cancellations and audits for accuracy.
• Maintain detailed documentation for all client transactions.
• Investigate matters for clients using independent judgment and discretion.
• Manage full renewal process including applications, negotiations, and proposals.
• Assist Sales Executive in identifying new business opportunities and referrals.
• May supervise, lead or mentor Account Managers or Assistants.
