Job summary

LP Insurance Services is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to deliver above-standard customer service to Clients, Producers, and Account Executives. You will be the primary contact for assigned accounts, supporting renewal processes and coordinating with underwriters to ensure competitive coverage and service.

The role requires handling complex commercial lines, maintaining precise client documentation, and identifying opportunities for additional coverages and value‑added services.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance coverage is essential.
• 2-3 years’ Commercial Lines middle market account management experience with a broker is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with Commercial Lines clients and underwriters following company policies and service standards.
• Support large and complex commercial lines clients.
• Review insurance applications, policies, endorsements, cancellations, and audits for accuracy.
• Maintain detailed documentation for all client transactions.
• Investigate matters for clients using independent judgment and discretion.
• Manage renewal process for assigned clients including applications, negotiations, and proposals.
