Job summary

National Construction Rentals is seeking a Business Development Representative to grow relationships with existing and prospective customers, primarily at the main office and customer sites. You will engage customers, support accounts, and identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and drive growth.

Responsibilities include outbound prospecting, site visits, maintaining a sales pipeline, and coordinating with customer service to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1–3 years in business development or sales desirable.
• Experience in customer-facing roles acceptable with equivalent education.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Windows.
• Strong communication, tactful and persuasive outreach.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify opportunities through outbound prospecting.
• Achieve or exceed lead generation targets set by Regional Manager.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings to promote products and services.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of current or potential customers.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities.
• Collaborate with customer service to ensure satisfaction and smooth transitions.
• Travel locally as needed.
