Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Business Relationship Manager I in Business Banking to build and manage a portfolio of 70–90 business clients. You will provide financial solutions, education, and advice to help clients grow while focusing on experience and risk management.

You will engage prospects and clients through in-person visits, develop relationships, and coordinate with Chase Wealth Management and Home Lending partners to meet clients' needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• Understanding of core business products and services with understanding of general business practices and how business needs vary by industry/market.
• Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 70–90 business clients with annual revenue of $1–$5 million for assigned branches; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to approximately $500,000.
• Deliver customized business banking solutions tailored to the financial needs of clients.
• Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to identify and promote solutions that serve the client and portfolio profitability.
• Conduct in-person calls with prospects, COIs, and clients at their business locations; review strategies with manager and adjust as needed.
• Identify and pursue potential new business clients to cultivate long-term banking relationships.
• Build collaborative relationships with partners across lines of business to connect clients with specialists.
