Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an experienced Store/Assistant Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations in Crestview, FL. You will lead the team, manage payroll and scheduling, ensure safety and policy compliance, and drive exceptional customer service.

The role requires 2+ years in retail store leadership, the ability to supervise and motivate Associates, and strong math for retail tasks. Evening and weekend availability is expected in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of store or assistant store manager experience.
• Ability to supervise and motivate store associates.
• Fluency in English and ability to work evenings/weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches.
• Communicates any variances to Company standards to the Store Manager.
• Ensures proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives.
• Ensures scheduling and completion of all Associate cleaning tasks throughout the store, including restrooms.
• Responsible for payroll administration including daily punch edits, Associate scheduling compliance, Sunday payroll transmission, and Payroll reporting as needed.
• Assists in recruiting, hiring, training and developing non-exempt Associates.
• Assists in maintaining compliance with Ross personnel policies and procedures.
• Assists with Associate Relations issues by communicating incidents to the Store Manager or District Manager.
