ATEX Distributing, LLC in Orlando seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to own the full AP cycle and strengthen our accounting operations. Reporting to the Controller, you will manage invoicing, approvals, three-way matching, and payments, while partnering with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies and maintain vendor relationships.

You'll have opportunities to advance into AP Lead or Manager as the function grows and processes are improved using NetSuite and Ramp.

Formación

• 3–5 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounts payable experience, including month-end close and vendor reconciliations.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Understanding of accounts payable controls, segregation of duties, and 1099 requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, three-way matching, GL coding, approvals, and payments.
• Prepare and process weekly payments through ACH, checks, wires, and virtual cards.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Partner with Purchasing to resolve pricing, quantity, freight, and purchase order discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 documentation, 1099 status, and banking verification controls.
• Own month-end AP close activities, including aging reconciliations, accruals, and resolution of outstanding items.
• Support annual 1099 reporting and year-end audit requirements.
