Job summary

AccruePartners, a third-generation, family-owned distribution company based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable specialist to join the corporate finance team. You will review invoices, ensure three-way matching, and support month-end close while building strong relationships across purchasing, operations, and finance.

You’ll bring 2+ years in AP or related finance, solid Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus).

Qualifications

Ideally, 2+ years of accounts payable or related finance experience.
Knowledge of invoice coding and vendor reconciliations.
Proficient in Excel; ERP experience, preferably Dynamics 365 BC.
Distribution or multi-location experience preferred.
Attention to detail and strong communication with vendors and teams.

Responsibilities

Review, code, and process vendor invoices, including three-way matching against purchase orders, receiving records, and approvals.
Monitor payment schedules and resolve invoice discrepancies, credits, and vendor payment questions.
Maintain vendor records and support onboarding, ensuring appropriate approvals and internal controls.
Reconcile vendor statements and AP records, maintain supporting documentation, and assist with month-end close.
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements that strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
