Job summary

Wqtu-Fm is seeking a full-time outside sales professional to identify potential clients and develop new opportunities in Floyd, Gordon, Bartow, and Polk Counties. You will work with current advertisers, build lasting relationships, and create compelling marketing proposals.

The role requires self-motivation, excellent communication, time management, and the ability to plan priorities within tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients and develop new opportunities for them
• Work with current advertisers and build a relationship
• Develop Marketing ideas for our clients
• Create clear written marketing proposals presenting them with confidence
• Constantly look for new sales prospects
• Enter electronic orders, make sure client payments are prompt, keep contact information up to date
• Keep management informed about successes and challenges on a daily basis
• Self-motivated, friendly, assertive personality
• Problem solving and time management skills
• Strong client-based relationship skills
• Ability to plan and organize priorities within specific timelines
• Great communication skills: verbal, written, and presentations
• Reliable transportation with valid license and auto insurance
• Ability to work with Microsoft products
• Previous “outside” sales experience
• Networking and social media skills
• Familiarity with Floyd, Gordon, Bartow, Polk Counties
