Dialogue AI Inc. is a Los Angeles-based startup enabling live AI interviews with a vetted scale of respondents. We are seeking a finance generalist with a strong model-building mindset to own the close, cost models and reporting for founders and investors.

The role combines accounting, pricing, margin analysis and forecasting in a fast-growing environment. Expect ownership of the monthly close, cash flow modeling and a data-driven approach to business decisions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, transaction advisory or Big Four audit.
• Experience at a startup owning the model rather than a slice of it.
• Knowledge SaaS unit economics (gross margin, ARR vs run rate, NRR).
• Ability to read contracts for economics: credits, overage, prepay, rollover, payment terms.
• Expert in spreadsheets; can write or learn SQL and use AI tools in real work.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close with external accountants and ensure reconciling numbers.
• Analyze unit economics and gross margin by customer; size leaks and propose fixes.
• Run pricing cards; model prepay, ladder and rollover structures for enterprise deals.
• Produce monthly runway, revenue dashboards and investor materials.
• Manage invoices, receivables and vendor payments; ensure clean monthly packet.
• Model contract economics including credits, overage, prepay, true-up and vendor commitments.
• Maintain operating rhythm: weekly agenda and internal finance questions.
• Handle logistics tasks before an office admin is hired.
