onX is seeking a Director of Growth Engineering to lead Growth teams across iOS, Android, and Web. You will partner with Growth Product, Marketing, and Data teams to scale user acquisition, activation, and ARR while upholding engineering standards.

You will drive strategic engineering leadership, oversee system architecture, and champion experimentation and personalization. A tech-forward, collaborative leader with a passion for growth will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical leadership across growth teams for mobile and web.
• Experience with marketing, product, and engineering collaboration.
• Strong SDLC, testing, code review, and observability practices in high-velocity environments.
• Experience with subscription lifecycles and payment integration.

Responsibilities

• Define growth engineering strategy aligned with goals across multiple platforms.
• Partner with Marketing to optimize the Martech stack strategy.
• Champion experimentation and A/B testing to improve conversion funnel.
• Oversee architecture of highly available, secure growth systems and establish standards.
• Drive personalization engineering including User Personalization systems.
• Bridge data engineering/BI with growth metrics and reporting.
• Lead and mentor Engineering Managers and engineers across backend, mobile, and web.
• Coordinate with UA/MA teams to align engineering deliverables with campaigns.
• Ensure growth initiatives integrate with the overall product roadmap.
