Job summary

Ambrook is building a world-class growth engineering team. As a design engineer on growth, you’ll own the craft of our marketing site, activation flows, and checkout, and you’ll help shape the marketing design system.

You’ll partner with marketing, sales, product operations, and customer success to drive outcomes, ship high‑quality experiences, and advance a design system that enables fast, thoughtful iteration across surfaces used by real-economy producers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building high-quality web and mobile experiences.
• Strong design instincts and ability to take prototypes to production.
• Advanced frontend skills and modern development workflows.
• Design system ownership with component libraries.
• Experimental thinking with data and clear experimentation plans.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Humility and outcome-oriented approach.
• Up-to-date with AI tooling and its day-to-day applicability.
• Interest in building software for sustainable, agriculture-focused industries.
• Bonus: Agriculture experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the craft of growth surfaces (marketing site, landing pages, activation flows, checkout) and the marketing design system underneath them.
• Teach visual and interaction standards for marketing work and maintain high quality while moving fast.
• Learn the fintech and climate-tech domain and how real-economy producers evaluate software.
• Improve experiment velocity by enabling others and modeling best practices in code and design.
• Within 1 month: design and ship a standalone growth surface end-to-end; audit craft for conversion.
• Within 3 months: own a system (e.g., marketing design system) and ship high-craft widgets and animations.
• Within 6 months: productionize multiple growth surfaces and participate in hiring decisions.
