Fleetio is hiring a Software Engineer for our Growth Engineering team. You’ll ship features across the product to help users discover value, adopt new workflows, and manage fleets.

You’ll partner with Product, Design, Data Ops, and other engineers to transform insights into product improvements and measurable outcomes. This remote role is open to candidates in the United States, Canada, or Mexico, with a focus on onboarding, engagement, and scalable web experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Experience building full-stack web applications and customer-facing features.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with writing efficient database queries and working with application data.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Operations, and other Engineers to deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Design and implement features that improve user onboarding, product adoption, and long-term engagement.
• Help build experiments that validate product ideas and measure customer impact.
• Contribute to technical discussions and collaborate on solutions that balance customer value with technical excellence.
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
• Prototype solutions and iterate quickly based on customer feedback and product insights.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with teammates, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
