The Wall Street Journal, a Dow Jones publication, is seeking a Growth Editor for the Free Expression newsletter. Based in our NYC office, you will craft the audience-growth strategy, partnering with editorial and product teams to scale Substack reach and reader engagement.

You will own the distribution plan, test new channels, identify high-potential contributors, and build recurring franchises that drive subscriptions while preserving the editorial voice and credibility that define the WSJ.

Competenze

• Significant experience in audience development and newsletter growth.
• Experience growing an audience on Substack or similar platforms.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to distinguish popular from durable engagement.
• Analytical skills with dashboards, experiments, and metrics.
• Ability to work across editorial, product, marketing, analytics, and commercial teams.
