Job summary

Del Taco Shift Managers support store operations and the General Manager to create an outstanding guest experience. You will lead a team, train future leaders, and drive performance across quality, service, safety, and efficiency. This role offers growth opportunities within a franchise environment.

Responsibilities include supervising 1–7 team members, ensuring compliance with policies, and assisting with staffing and training to maintain Del Taco's standards of service and hospitality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of quick service supervisory or leadership experience with a track record of guest satisfaction.
• Ability to lead and train staff, and to manage multiple tasks with effective follow-through.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation; basic business math and cash handling
• Valid driver’s license and, if required, Food Handlers certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in supervising shifts and ensuring quality, guest service, safety and cleanliness.
• Schedule and supervise 1–7 team members and enforce company policies and programs.
• Explain menu items clearly to guests and manage POS transactions accurately.
• Help with staffing decisions, interviews, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Promote an Employer of Choice culture and develop staff through training.
