Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Ohio-Massillon seeks a Retail Assistant Branch Manager to drive branch sales, deepen customer relationships, and lead a team in delivering the Woodforest Experience.

You will collaborate with the Retail Branch Manager, support community engagement, manage deposits and loans growth, and coach staff toward outstanding service while upholding security and confidentiality. This is a full-time, on-site role with travel up to 25% outside the branch.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Associate’s degree with 2 years related experience or Bachelor’s degree with 1 year related experience.
• Demonstrable leadership ability and experience; supervisory experience helpful.
• Positive, engaging attitude; ability to lead and coach a team.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager in achieving branch sales and revenue goals by promoting banking products and services.
• Develop and lead strategies to grow consumer and business relationships.
• Grow deposits and loans through inside and outside calling.
• Enhance customer experience by building relationships with customers and community partners.
• Lead in a technology driven customer experience and community engagement.
