Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Process Engineer I to join the US Build4Growth program in North America. The role focuses on operational improvements in cement plants, with blended learning and on-the-job projects over 14 months.

Ideal candidates have a chemical engineering background, 0–3 years of experience, and comfort with SAP reporting. Travel is expected around 5% as part of site rotations and cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• Field of Study preferred: Chemical Engineering.
• 0-3 years of work experience requested.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant operations and recommend process improvements with cost/benefit analysis.
• Develop process control automation and computer applications for process control.
• Prepare computer reports on operating efficiencies and failure investigations.
• Test plant systems to determine equipment efficiencies.
• Support management to maintain the plant within safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Train shift supervisors for SAP reporting and TIS.
• Support new system implementations (e.g., TIS).
• Perform ISO audits and assist with month-end reporting.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
