Job summary

Amrize Missouri is seeking a Build For Growth Process Engineer I to contribute to plant improvements and automation projects at our Ste. Genevieve Cement facility.

Join a 14‑month development program designed to build foundational knowledge in process controls, safety, and environmental performance while working on real optimization projects across the cement plant. The role requires 0–3 years of experience, a background in Chemical Engineering, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Field of Study: Chemical Engineering.
• 0-3 years of work experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operations of the Plant and make recommendations for process improvement including Cost/Benefit Analysis.
• Develop process control automation and computer applications for process control.
• Prepare computer reports on the process of operating efficiencies and failure investigation tests.
• Perform tests on operating plant systems to determine the efficiencies of the equipment.
• Provide assistance to management in maintain the Plant within environmental and quality performance regulations.
• Training shift supervisors for SAP reporting and TIS.
• Responsible for New System Implementation (eg. TIS).
• Perform ISO Audits and involved with Month End activity reporting.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
