Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Process Engineer I in Missouri as part of the Build4Growth program. The role focuses on operational improvements across plant production and developing control software, with a 14‑month development track in cement manufacturing.

New graduates will gain foundational knowledge in main plant areas, with a blended learning approach including online courses, on‑the‑job assignments, and projects.

Qualifications

• Field of Study preferred: Chemical Engineering.
• Required Work Experience: 0-3 years.
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Analyze operations of the Plant and make recommendations for process improvement including Cost/Benefit Analysis.
• Develop process control automation and computer applications for process control.
• Prepare computer reports on the process of operating efficiencies and failure investigation tests.
• Perform tests on operating plant systems to determine the efficiencies of the equipment.
• Provide assistance to management in maintain the Plant within environmental and quality performance regulations.
• Training shift supervisors for SAP reporting and TIS.
• Responsible for New System Implementation (eg. TIS).
• Perform ISO Audits and involved with Month End activity reporting.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
