Job summary

Spartech is seeking a Plant Training Coordinator for the Sheboygan Falls facility to lead training, development, and onboarding for new hires and current operators.

You will partner with Sr. HR Manager and Plant Leadership to close training gaps, implement annual learning plans, and drive continuous improvement in retention and performance. This role emphasizes teamwork and a One Spartech culture.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years management experience with direct reports.
• Open to continuing education as deemed necessary by leadership.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, plastics industry a plus.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the formalization of new hire training and annual plant training plans.
• Develop a written training program with coursework and certifications.
• Lead orientation and floor trainer onboarding programs.
• Improve development and retention programs and mentor talent.
• Create career progression paths for Operators across classifications.
• Collaborate with Plant EH&S, Quality, and Plant Leadership to set topics.
