Viral Nation, a leading digital marketing agency, seeks a Director, Performance Marketing to own the craft across paid social, paid search, and programmatic for a multi-client book. You will lead Associate Directors, set standards, manage senior client relationships, and drive retention and growth.

This role requires strong leadership, deep measurement expertise, and a strategic mindset to accelerate growth and deliver measurable impact across campaigns and platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of performance marketing across paid social, paid search, and programmatic.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong agency-side track record leading strategy and delivery for multiple clients.
• Deep measurement expertise (attribution, Incrementality MMM/MTA).
• Excellent executive communication and client storytelling at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, quality, and performance of the paid media practice across a multi-client book and significant media investment.
• Lead and develop Associate Directors and their teams, through to Managers.
• Set practice-wide standards for media planning, audience strategy, testing, QA, and measurement.
• Serve as senior client lead and executive escalation point on strategic accounts to safeguard retention.
• Drive organic growth across the book by expanding scopes with account leadership.
• Own platform strategy and technical application for delivery, translating roadmaps into in-account plays.
• Guide platform strategy and relationships across Meta, Google, TikTok, and DSPs.
• Champion adoption of AI-enabled workflows across planning, buying, optimization, and reporting.
• Partner with Strategy, Creative, Influencer, BI, and Client Services for integrated delivery.
• Contribute to forecasting, resourcing, and utilization with leadership.
