Job summary

Shermco Industries, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, staff, and process improvements for a $30+ million branch with 50 employees.

You will drive efficiency, ensure safety standards, and partner with departments to align goals and performance metrics. The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of management experience, and the ability to manage P&L responsibilities while maintaining customer relationships and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level education preferred; industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of operations/general management with full P&L responsibility of $5-10M+ and at least 8-10+ employees, ideally in engineering services or field services.
• Experience working with customers and building relationships.
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience growing a business.
• Self-starter.
• Strong safety culture leadership experience.
• Strong drive, competitive mindset, energy and motivation to win.
• Hands-on leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to increase productivity.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure goals are aligned and met.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
