Job summary

Regions is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential loans through our branch network. You will complete applications, evaluate requests, and maintain contact with customers throughout the process.

The role emphasizes building external business via referrals with realtors and builders, cross-selling bank products, and meeting lending guidelines. A high school diploma and mortgage lending experience are required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of mortgage lending experience.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates progress.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops a marketing plan and regular contact with realtors, builders, and developers.
