Job summary

Scale Marketing is seeking an innovative Director of Marketing to build and lead our internal marketing organization from the ground up in Chicago. This leadership role offers autonomy to create the roadmap, hire the team, implement the technology stack and establish playbooks that will drive our next phase of growth.

You’ll own growth strategy, content and thought leadership, brand and SEO, AI-enabled marketing, and performance measurement, reporting to the Sr.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
• Proven success in content marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
• Strong understanding of SEO, organic growth and digital marketing.
• Experience aligning sales and marketing within an organization.
• Experience leveraging AI tools in modern marketing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Scale Marketing’s overall growth strategy and playbook.
• Own content strategy and thought leadership programs across channels.
• Drive brand awareness, SEO and social engagement to generate demand.
• Implement and optimize AI-driven marketing technologies and CRM systems.
• Build and scale the internal marketing team and establish KPIs and dashboards.
