Cahoots Coworking in downtown Ann Arbor is seeking a part‑time Events Coordinator to grow the event business and deliver exceptional venue experiences. You will handle inquiries, tours, and bookings, coordinate between sales, AV, and hospitality, and help plan Cahoots‑led programming for the community.

The role calls for a proactive, friendly, and detail‑oriented individual who can flex hours around the event calendar, including occasional evenings or weekends. 20–25 hrs/week, $18–$23/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, hospitality, or venue coordination is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and execute independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to event inquiries and qualify leads; provide venue tours and move clients toward booking.
• Support the event sales process from inquiry to proposal, contract, invoicing, intake, and event execution.
• Coordinate Cahoots‑side of external events including client communication, room setup/teardown, AV hookup, and timelines.
• Plan Cahoots‑led programming and community activations.
• Own Cahoots event calendar and keep calendars, listings, and Slack updated.
