Job summary

The Hair Shop is seeking a growth-minded Director of Ecommerce to drive double-digit YoY revenue growth and own the online channel. This hands-on role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on Shopify, CRO, and a fast-changing retail beauty environment.

You will own the site strategy, merchandising, and performance analytics, coordinate with Marketing and Creative, and lead a small team and external partners to scale the digital business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ecommerce leadership, with growth ownership for a website channel.
• Proven track record of double-digit YoY growth in online/DTC.
• Hands-on Shopify experience, including theme/app ecosystem and dev coordination.
• Experience managing Amazon listings, advertising, and marketplace growth tactics.
• Strong CRO methodology knowledge with experience in A/B testing and heatmaps.
• Experience leading a small team and coordinating with external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Own the growth strategy and P&L for the online channel with double-digit growth targets.
• Lead the direct-to-consumer website including merchandising, UX, CRO, promotions, and AOV optimization.
• Oversee Amazon as a secondary channel: listings, advertising, inventory, and growth strategy.
• Set and execute the site growth roadmap, UX improvements, landing page optimization, and checkout optimization.
• Lead CRO program: prioritize, run, and analyze tests with design and web dev agency.
• Be the internal Shopify expert: platform roadmap, theme/app ecosystem, and performance.
