Job summary

Taylor White in Bradenton, FL is partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed company to appoint a hands-on Controller who will own the accounting function end-to-end. You will lead a team of billing, AP, and accounting staff, and serve as the primary financial partner to the CEO, Board, and PE investors.

This role requires a CPA (preferred) and 7–10+ years in accounting, with strong GAAP expertise, month-end close, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams is required.
• Experience with month-end close and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting function end-to-end, including close and reporting.
• Lead a team of billing, AP, and accounting staff.
• Present financial packages to CEO, Board, and PE investors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Maintain strong controls and GAAP compliance.
