Job summary

Georgia Banking Company seeks a dynamic Senior Commercial Banking Team Lead to guide a team of four or more Commercial Relationship Managers across the Atlanta Metro region. You will oversee a middle‑market C&I portfolio with revenues between $10 million and $100 million, delivering relationship management, credit execution, and holistic banking solutions.

Qualifications

At least 10 years of commercial lending experience, preferably at a local community or regional bank.
Experience leading relationship management or lending teams.
Strong understanding of C&I portfolio management and underwriting.
Formal credit training is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Exceptional communication and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Relationship Managers, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.
Drive business development strategies across lending, deposits, and treasury management to expand GBC’s market presence.
Maintain and grow a personal portfolio of C&I relationships.
Ensure credit integrity by overseeing proposal preparation, risk assessment, and documentation.
Collaborate across departments to enhance the client experience.
Represent GBC in professional and civic communities, supporting growth consistent with the Bank’s strategic objectives and values.
