Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking an analytical Account Manager to join our Ad Platform team in Mountain View. You will manage a portfolio of performance advertisers, drive revenue growth through campaign optimization, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ad Operations to improve the platform and adoption of new ad products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management, customer success, or performance media buying.
• Proven track record of growing account revenue and optimizing campaigns.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Ad Ops to influence feature roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of bid-based advertising, ad servers, pixel setup, and attribution.
• Strong analytical skills to turn data into actionable optimizations.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for QBRs.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly retention and revenue growth targets across your client portfolio.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize performance campaigns to meet target KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPI, LTV).
• Provide proactive, data-driven optimization strategies across bidding tactics, audience targeting, conversion funnels, and creative refresh cycles to scale daily ad spend.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), translating complex campaign data into revenue-generating stories.
• Identify spend barriers early, troubleshoot attribution gaps, and execute save and re-activation plans for at-risk or stalled accounts.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Ad Operations teams to serve as the voice of the customer and translate feedback into platform improvements.
