Job summary

Roskam Foods seeks a Director of Business Development to drive profitable growth and expand partnerships across food brands and co-manufacturing channels. Reporting to the CCO, you will leverage our R&D strengths to win new business and deepen existing relationships.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build strategic accounts, and travel extensively to customer visits, trade shows, and market scouting to stay ahead of trends in clean-label and wellness products.

Qualifications

• Proven success in delivering annual sales growth in food, ingredients, or co-manufacturing.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to penetrate new accounts in B2B settings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, ability to thrive in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual profitable sales growth and exceed targets.
• Target and attract key customers valuing R&D and technical expertise.
• Build partnerships via facility tours, product demos, and collaborative problem solving.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales support, R&D, procurement, quality, finance and operations to tailor proposals.
• Monitor pipeline health, customer retention, and revenue growth.
• Stay ahead of market shifts (e.g., clean-label, precision wellness) and leverage industry insights.
