Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking a high-performing Director of Business Development to drive profitable sales growth and expand partnerships. Reporting to the CCO, you will leverage our R&D strengths to win new business and deepen relationships with key accounts.

You will lead cross-functional teams across sales, R&D, procurement, quality, finance, and operations to tailor proposals, deliver innovative food solutions, and stay ahead of market trends like clean-label and wellness concepts.

Qualifications

10+ years of B2B sales experience in the food industry.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; thrive in a matrix environment.
Willingness to travel 50-70% for customer visits, trade shows, and market scouting.

Responsibilities

Drive annual growth and deliver profitable sales growth; exceed targets.
Target and attract key customers with focus on R&D, technical expertise, and adaptability.
Build partnerships and pipeline through tours, demos, and collaborative problem-solving.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales support, R&D, procurement, quality, finance, and operations to tailor proposals.
