Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Growth Design Manager to lead design across our Growth portfolio. You will guide and grow a team of designers focused on Conversion, Activation, and Virality, partnering with Product and Engineering to translate ambiguity into a clear growth plan and exceptional customer experiences.

You will foster a design practice where experimentation and craft reinforce each other, and you will build scalable processes to support rapid growth across Mercury’s entire product journey.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing growth/product designers.
• Track record of using design to drive measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent design thinker with strong visual and product judgment.
• Comfortable moving between strategic partnership and hands-on critique.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the designers across Mercury’s Growth organization.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to shape Growth strategy and opportunities.
• Move teams from intuition to learning using experimentation and customer insight.
• Raise the quality bar across experiences from Mercury’s web presence to activation and virality.
• Create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and identify high-impact problems.
• Build scalable systems and operating practices for fast, creative growth.
