Job summary

Midi Health, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, seeks a Director of Engineering, Growth & Consumer to guide the engineering teams behind the patient experience, from discovery through onboarding and ongoing engagement. This true player-coach role combines hands-on architecture and code review with strategic leadership across Product, Marketing, Design, Data Science, and Clinical leaders.

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering management experience and leading at least 10 engineers.
Experience building consumer-facing platforms and growth/commerce features.
Experience partnering with Product, Marketing, Design, Data Science, and Clinical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering roadmap for consumer and growth experiences.
Build and lead high-performing engineering teams with ownership and high standards.
Stay hands-on with architecture decisions and code reviews.
Partner with Product, Marketing, Design, and Data Science to translate needs into scalable solutions.
Drive quality, velocity, reliability, and operational health.
Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and leaders.
Collaborate with other Midi engineering leaders on cross-team decisions.
Define how AI and modern tools are used to improve software development.
