Job summary

Mattel Sales Corp. in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Sales Planning and Analytics Analyst, Growth Channel, to support forecasting, inventory planning and order recommendations. You will partner with Sales and Growth Channels’ Inventory teams to improve POS projections and month-to-month forecasts.

The role requires 3 years in retailer-facing roles, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Anaplan and MS Excel. Travel up to 15% may be required; reporting to the Sr.

Qualifications

• 3 years in retailer-facing role or inventory planning.
• Analytical capability and attention to demand trends.
• Experience with large data sets and cross-source blending.
• Knowledge of Anaplan forecasting.
• Strong communication across org levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to analyze trends and improve POS projections and inventory planning.
• Determine models for item-level forecasts considering history, brands and promotions.
• Create POS projections based on seasonality, promotions and price points.
• Improve forecast accuracy by measuring metrics and sharing findings with cross-functional teams.
• Lead process improvements to drive efficiencies across the business.
• Present forecasts in internal consensus meetings and support month-to-month planning.
• Collaborate with Customers Planners and Inventory Analysts on forecasting meetings.
