Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. in Virginia Beach seeks an Assistant Growth Officer to support the Growth Department in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new government contracting opportunities.

You will work across pipeline management, market research, proposals, and client engagement to help shape the capture lifecycle. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role offers hands‑on experience in a small‑business setting where individual contributions impact growth and revenue.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business development, capture, proposal support, or related gov contracting role.
• Familiarity with federal procurement process, FAR basics, RFP/RFI structures, contract vehicles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage deadlines in a small teams.
• U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with a CRM platform and GovWin IQ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update opportunity pipeline with accurate data, forecasts, and stage gates.
• Monitor SAM.gov, GovWin, eBuy for solicitations and forecasted opportunities.
• Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership reviews in Growth Department.
• Assist capture managers with win‑strategy, competitive assessments, and qualification.
• Coordinate teaming agreements, NDAs, and engagement with customers and partners.
• Oversee proposal schedules, checklists, and templates; support color team reviews.
• Support recruiting for key personnel and drafting proposal sections as needed.
• Maintain growth records, contract vehicle docs, and past performance databases.
