Job summary

Brightside is seeking a marketing leader to own how we are seen, talked about and chosen. You will build the brand, reputation and demand, starting with a lean team and expanding as we grow.

You will partner with the Chief Growth Officer to design and drive campaigns, PR and branding across channels, while leading a small team and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, remote-ready environment.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years in marketing, brand or PR.
• At least 2 years leading a team or owning a function.
• Experience in EdTech, consumer startups or high-growth companies.
• Campaigns and brand work you have led yourself, with results you can describe in numbers.
• Excellent written and spoken English, and strong judgment on brand and message.
• Comfort with analytics, planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Set the marketing plan, goals and monthly targets with the Chief Growth Officer, and deliver against them.
• Design and run focused campaigns that bring qualified learners to Brightside, from audience selection to outreach and partnerships.
• Build and run our PR, including media relationships, press stories, partnerships and events.
• Shape our brand identity, voice and story; plan and deliver campaigns that make Brightside memorable.
• Own our presence across social channels, email, website and community; set content calendar and monitor analytics.
