Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring a Customer Development Manager to provide insight and analytic support to our retail customers, suppliers and account teams.

You will identify opportunities, deliver recommendations to drive category and customer growth, and create reports using POS and syndicated data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience.
• Experience with category management principles, syndicated data, shopper/consumer insights, and space management principles and software.
• Ability to analyze data to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Strong collaboration with retailers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver insights.

Responsibilities

• Work with teams to ensure superior client satisfaction through analytics.
• Stay informed of analytic best practices and apply them to improve sales, margins, and development.
• Track category performance: sales, profits, margins, market share.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics during business reviews.
• Create reports using POS data, Nielsen/IRI data, and account databases.
• Gather category and shopper data to identify opportunities at the customer level.
• Analyze supply chain to evaluate supplier performance and inventory objectives.
• Use market research data to deliver category growth.
• Provide advanced analytics and manage data sources for field execution of vendor programs.
• Serve as single point of contact for customers and align with category strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
