Job summary

Boeing is hiring an EA-18G Structures Mechanic to join the team on Whidbey Island, WA. You will modify and repair EA-18G Growler structural components, ensuring airworthiness and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include executing capability upgrades, interpreting drawings and manuals, and collaborating with engineering, QA, and production to ensure precise modifications and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience on the F/A-18 and/or EA-18G platform.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering change documents.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with aircraft fuselage or wing structures assembly, maintenance or repair

Responsibilities

• Perform complex structural modifications and repairs on EA-18G Growler aircraft, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and manuals.
• Execute capability upgrades focusing on structural integrity and integration with systems.
• Interpret blueprints, manuals, wiring diagrams, and modification instructions related to aircraft structures.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure correct modification execution.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repair/modification activities and configuration changes.
• Adhere to safety procedures, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance processes and reduce cycle times.
• Support troubleshooting to resolve structural issues affecting performance or readiness
