Job summary

D.O.M. magazine in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Aircraft Structural Mechanic to support the F/A-18 E/F Structures program. You will perform depot-level maintenance, heavy checks, and structural modifications on Navy aircraft as part of Block 3 upgrades, with tools provided and per diem where eligible.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with a 1-year contract-to-hire and fingerprinting requirements. Candidates must have at least 4 years’ depot experience, and Boeing or military aircraft exposure is

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of recent depot-level aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to complete equipment overhauls and modifications.
• Military aircraft or Boeing platform experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform depot-level maintenance and heavy checks on aircraft.
• Execute equipment overhauls and structural modifications.
• Handle sheet-metal modifications and corrosion repairs.
• Install high locks and various structural components.
