Job summary

2+ years in aircraft structures, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and FAA certification in Airframe/Power Plant are preferred. Shift options include 1st and 2nd.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of performing aircraft structural and mechanical work.
• 2+ years of experience with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures.
• Proficient working with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aircraft structures and components using jigs, fixtures, and precision tools.
• Set up and use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, gauges, protractors, and calipers.
• Replace ribs, stiffeners, stringers in skinned assemblies per blueprints with firm callouts, butt, center, chord, station and water lines.
• Operate equipment such as brakes, grinders, band saws, and presses.
• Document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, parts requests, etc.
• Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to perform assigned duties.
