Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of underwriting experience or equivalent.
• CPCU/CLU/LOMA/HIAA or similar courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calculates renewal rates for group cases based on group experience, industry and demographics.
• Prepares annual settlements, ERISA reports, rate projections and post-sale review.
• Determines acceptability of insurance risks and appropriate premium rates per underwriting guidelines.
