Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Underwriter I–III for a hybrid role (3 days/week in office) across multiple U.S. offices.

You will evaluate group eligibility, assign rates, and support renewals for small to large group products, helping create a person-focused health care experience. You will follow underwriting guidelines, verify employer participation, audit groups, and maintain records in underwriting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, math, statistics, or related discipline is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Excel and common software applications.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Follow underwriting guidelines and formulas to develop and assign rates for new and renewal groups.
• Verify employer eligibility to purchase and renew group products.
• Audit groups to ensure compliance with underwriting and legislative guidelines.
• Maintain complete and accurate records in underwriting systems.
• Prepare rate changes and communications for renewals and proposals.
• Support management reporting and development of automated rating tools.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting group rating.
