Job summary

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, finance knowledge, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and underwriting tools. AI experience is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Underwriter I requires a bachelor's degree in business, math, statistics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Underwriter II requires a degree plus ≥3 years related experience; or equivalent.
• Underwriter III requires a degree plus ≥5 years related experience; or equivalent.
• Senior requires a degree plus ≥8 years related experience; or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow underwriting guidelines and formulas to develop and assign rates for new and renewal groups.
• Verify employer eligibility to purchase and renew group products.
• Audit new and renewing groups for compliance.
• Approve renewal changes after verifying rates and product selection.
• Maintain records in underwriting systems and resolve data discrepancies.
• Use StepWise, Salesforce, and claims systems to support the rating process.
