• Associate's degree including 30 credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services and 3 years experience with school aged children.

Jobbeschreibung

Responsible for assisting the day to day operations of the OST Program. Program components include the following: project-based learning, Homework Assistance, any enrichment activity offered such as Visual Arts, Music, Performing Arts, and Nutritional services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services field and 1-year experience with children. -or-
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services and 1-year experience with children. -or-
• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with school aged children.
• Knowledge of the Latino and African American community and the resources available.
• Knowledge of the Philadelphia School System and curriculum standards for children Kinder through 12th grade.
• Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) preferred.
